Legendary Rally Driver Ken Block Dies In an Accident

The notorious rally driver that belonged to the Hoonigan racing division passed away in a snowmobile accident at the age of 55. He was a lover of extreme sports and a pioneer in the motorsports community. 

He was riding his snowmobile on a steep slope in Wasatch County, Utah when the accident happened. He did not survive the injuries sustained from the accident. FIA and major race teams paid tribute to this legend. 

Ken block started rally racing in 2005 and later co-founded Hoonigan racing and DC Shoes. FIA president in a statement said, “I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my friend Ken Block. An inspiration for us all and a true gentleman of our sport. The FIAs thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
