Race-Altering Incidents at Indianapolis
Kyle Larson’s race ended when a tire went down entering Turn 3 late in Stage 1. The No. 5 Chevrolet spun into the outside wall while Larson was positioned to cycle toward the lead.
Chase Elliott later went to the garage after contact with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. sent him into the backstretch wall. Elliott returned 41 laps down and finished 37th.
