Q: When and how did you become a motorsports enthusiast?

In October 1966 at the age of 11, Road & Track magazine featured the Lamborghini Miura on its cover. That same year my godfather bought a Ferrari 275 GTB. I have been hooked ever since.

Q: What kind of influence has that had on your life?

It turns out this had a great influence on my life. I always had an interest in how things worked. Becoming a motorsports enthusiast at an early age took this to a new level. This was a major factor in why I decided to become an engineer. I met my wife because of engineering.

Q: What makes volunteering at World of Speed meaningful to you?

Being a part of World of Speed means a great deal to me. Everything from the staff, to fellow volunteers, to the amazing cars, to the interesting people that visit the museum, to being a part of a world class museum.

Q: What is the most memorable experience of your time volunteering?

Learning the great stories behind the amazing cars.

Q: What do you wish other people knew about World of Speed?

The effort it takes to make a museum like World of Speed great.

Q: If you could choose any vehicle to be displayed in the museum, what would it be?

Without question a Lamborghini Miura.

Q: What is your dream car?

Besides a Lamborghini Miura, my realistic dream car is a resto-mod 1968 Chevrolet Camaro.
