Q: When and how did you become a motorsports enthusiast?

A: At age 12 hawking popcorn and peanuts in the bleachers at a local stock car track.

Q: What kind of influence has that had on your life?

A: Pointed my attention to the hobby of hot rod street cars.

Q: What makes volunteering at World of Speed meaningful to you?

A: The pleasure of helping patrons have a good time.

Q: What is the most memorable experience of your time volunteering?

A: Listening to guest speakers.

Q: What do you wish other people knew about World of Speed?

A: The historical information that is available at the museum.

A: George Barris’ 1951 Hirohata Mercury
