THANK YOU!
World of Speed’s automotive education program started in the fall of 2015 as a partnership between the Museum, Clackamas Community College, and a local school district. Through the years, the program grew to include many additional districts and schools, and to serve hundreds of high school students, providing the opportunity for hands-on automotive education absent from so many schools. Many of these students have gone on to have successful careers in the automotive industry, or to pursue post-secondary opportunities in automotive education.
We would like to thank Clackamas Community College for being our instructional partner over the past five years. We would like to thank the school administrators from: Arts and Technology High School, Canby High School, Lake Oswego High School, Lakeridge High School, Newberg High School, North Marion High School, Sherwood High School, Tualatin High School, West Linn High School, and Wilsonville High School. We would like to thank our community and business partners for speaking to our students and helping to inspire them in their future endeavors. We would like to thank our instructors for sharing their expert knowledge with the students. And, finally, we would like to thank the students for their enthusiasm and desire to learn.
